Pearland Destination Marketing (DMD), a division of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, seeks to attract sporting events to the City of Pearland located in northern Brazoria County, Texas. Working with the cityÕs parks and recreation department, local attractions and hotel operators, the DMD is a central resource and facilitator for sporting event organizers. The DMD also assists with the planning and coordination of site visits, media coverage and game day activities.

We achieve this mission by supporting numerous sporting events throughout the city through our partnership with Pearland Independent School District, Pearland Parks and Recreation Department, and private sports facilities. We also partner in local, regional and national marketing efforts in conjunction with Texas Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau Sports Texas Program, the National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC), and a host of local volunteers.

Good Brews & Good Food: BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse's Beer Dinner

Something's a brew at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse and come Tuesday, August 31, guests can see what it is for themselves.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Pearland will host a Widmer Brothers Brewing Company beer dinner. Guests can sample a variety of Widmer Brothers beers along with a laid-back five course dinner. The cost of the dinner is $30. Call in advance to make reservations. Dinner begins at 7 p.m.
